Let your whole body vibrate with positive energy and may all living beings benefit!

 Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu:

“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”

Its been 2 days now since Barcelona was affected by the horrible actions of a group of people. You have all probably seen it by now spreading all over the media. In a good way the media makes us aware to a certain point and in another way people use these times to spread fear and hate. Barcelona is a loving, caring and multicultural city. We are all proud to call it our home and we refuse to let hate be part of our lives. Love will concur hate in the same way water concurs fire, by pouring it all over until its put out.

Om shanti

This post is kind of repetition, but I couldn't resist. This is one of my favourite songs of Pixies and when I heard it today after a long time it suddenly made me visualize this image of 2013, which by the way was one of the first images we created for this web.

With your feet in the air and your head on the ground
Try this trick and spin it, yeah
Your head will collapse
If there's nothing in it
And you'll ask yourself

Where is my mind
Where is my mind
Where is my mind
Way out in the water
See it swimmin'

Sirsasana (headstand) pose is always good if you need a new perspective on this thing called life. It creates a whole new dimension. Bliss.

Maybe wanna try?

Use the sweet and cooling aroma of lavender this summer to keep the pitta dosha balanced! This amazing herb helps to reduce tension both in your mind and body. It has a calming affect on the nerves and induces sleep.

Practice with compassion, freedom and be cooling in nature. Give yourself plenty of space, be creative and enjoy your summer!

Summer is the best time of the year to practice yoga outdoors and let the nature heal us. We should all take advantage of it!

Inhale, exhale. Fresh air, our vital energy. It's a gift.

Connect with the earth. Connect with the sky. Feel those opposite energies.

Stop thinking, just look, observe and enjoy!

We have much to learn from the trees and the rocks. They are so much older and wiser than us.

And let yourself bloom like any of those flowers.

Love and light,

and remember that you are as much part of this universe as the sun, the moon and all the stars. You just have to rediscover the light within yourself and allow it to shine, pure and bright.

Through your practice you start to experience the connection and you know, in the same way the sun knows it's made to shine, that the force that moves the universe also moves you. You live in an amazing world and you are an amazing being!

For the last six months our project has been on hold and that’s not because we had planned to abandon it but because life just took another turn. From one day to another things can change drastically in your life and you are really put to the test. No one prepares you for the loss of the one you love most and it’s all about the hard journey of acceptance. There are days that are so dark that you are not able to bring out your yoga mat. I’ve learnt that you must allow yourself to have these days, because deep inside you know that you will find your way back again. In these moments time is your best friend and you just need to relay on its healing power.

These are also times when you start thinking on why we are here and what’s really important in life. Love is. People are. Animals too. Family and friends and even strangers can make every dark day a bit lighter. Even if we haven’t posted or taken any photos for our blog, Madelene has been next to me all the time, supporting with her enormous compassion. Just like soul sisters do. Maybe our discussions haven’t been about yoga postures or new ideas, but rather everything from life to death. Sharing is so important and it’s priceless to have someone to cry WITH. You should never take it for granted and in the end my attitude of gratitude is even greater now.

After all, life goes on. I do feel grateful for what I have and for what I had.And I am very happy that our project goes on as well. For the first time in a long time I feel inspired and I look forward to continue what we started.

He might not be here anymore but he will always be lightning my way. He is light. I am light. You are light.

"You are not IN the universe, you ARE the universe, an intrinsic part of it. Ultimately you are not a person, but a focal point where the universe is becoming conscious of itself. What an amazing miracle.”

― Eckhart Tolle

This window. By this window with Madelene we’ve done many photo shootings, seen many full moons and new moons, sipped chai tea and infusions, sometimes a glass of wine, and shared moments – both good ones and those bad ones. And made this life a little bit better place to be.

Now it’ll be another window or something else to inspire us. Change is inevitable but the moon remains the same.

Feeling gratitude.

Keep your window open.

Take the time to get to know your own being, allow yourself to become a tool for the universe to work it's miracles. Less doing and more being!

Maybe practice a slow flow today or bring out the bolsers and blankets for a restorative practice?!

Whatever you do, do it from the heart and with love!
