YOGA MUDRA

During the change of the seasons it's easy to feel a bit low on energy and it's also common to get sick. To increase your immune system and prevent yourself from the typical autumn cold, it's recommend that you practice the Yoga Mudra pose everyday

A step by step guide to the Yoga Mudra pose:

.    Start by sitting in the Hero pose with your buttocks resting on your heels, keeping your thighs parallel and your knees together.

.    Sit with your torso straight and reach behind with both arms and grasp your left wrist with your right hand if you are a woman or your right wrist with your left hand if you are a man.

.    Inhale through your nose and as you exhale all the air through your mouth, bend your upper body forward and place the top of your head on the ground.

.    Extend your arms upwards with your shoulders stretched backwards, while you keep your buttocks resting on your heels.

.    Hold this position for up to 10 seconds without breathing.

.    Gently inhale and raise up to get yourself back to the position you started off with.

Repeat this 10 times.

Yoga Mudra everyday keeps the doctor away!
