This summer starts to be officially over here in Europe. Autumn, the transition period between summer and winter, is taking over and you can feel it in the air and in the wind. But the best sign of this seasonal change can be seen in nature.
According to Indian Ayurveda system and Dosha-balancing, we should follow nature and adapt the same kind of changes into our lifestyle depending on the season. As nature does, we should also pull our energy inward, when the autumn folds and the earth is getting cooler. We should create a slower internal rhythm in order to stay healthy during the coldest period of the year. If we fail to do so, we easily end up into an unbalanced situation causing for example chapped lips, constipation, anxiety or insomnia.
We can help our bodies to find the balance by practicing certain types of yoga postures in each season. Now it´s time to stoke the heat in the body and soothe the nervioussystem through poses like trikonasana or prasaritapadottanasana.
Practice yoga in communion with nature and with attitude of exploration!
